Wizard hunting/training plan

I'm wondering whats the most efficient way to get from 1-18th level with a wizard. Including training plan and what critters I should hunt at certain levels? More specifically how long do you all think this will take?

if its just created pump up str and con, go sword/shield, rats till at least 6 then im a fan of the GY but its not always so easy to find a bless.

You can be 18-20 in a month if you play a decent amount. Use the free fixstats and fixskills for the first month to your advantage.

I wasn't given the fixstats for my 30 day period.
Have they done away with it? You might wanna check before you buff out your little wizard. Mine permanetly has screwy stats, but at 14 levels, I didnt wanna start over.

Is elf good for wizard or is there better? Halfing perhaps?
