Since it's being shown off at the Austin Game Developer's Conference (bigger display than a lot of big name companies), HeroEngine's website has been updated with videos and shit:

EDIT: Good move, I'd say.

A question that begs asking...
If this Hero's Engine makes it so easy to develop a full-fledged MMO quickly, why the hell has Hero's Journey been in development so long?

Because they use all their GMs to test-drive HeroEngine? Good question, honestly.

Because Whatley's pimping the GMs out, in essence. I don't see HJ showing up for a while.

Here's a link to the conference floorplan. Simu is bottom left, bout 2/3rd down. One of the bigger displays at the thing.

This website has clearly seen more development than HJ.

That's the first thing that came to mind.
Because HSL scares the coder GMs off.

I won't hate too hard. We don't have any primary DR posters that I know of. Welcome to hell. You can bitch about Simu too, Kan.

To be fair, we really have no idea how things are behind the scenes.
To be realistic, Simutronics tends to be slower than hell.

My guess...and this is only a guess...is that Simu realized they can make a ton more money with their engine than they ever would with an actual game.
Hence why they offer consulting and top of the line support for their engine...and keep pushing the game back.

Sounds very, very likely.
