Yeah, I heard you say that on the net the other day. I disagree.

To me, the going price is 6-8 mil.

Price is determined on what someone would actually be willing to accept to part with an item. The market is in such a state, and the claids in enough of a rarity where anyone selling a mithril claid for 5 mil would be a desperate person.

BTW, I love Allen, so I'm not bashing on him. Just saying that the price of Mithril claids has gone up in the last few months. Why? Dunno.

Going price a few years ago was 3-4mil. It recently went up to 5mil. Never seen one sell for more than that.

Yeah, the last few I've seen sell have actually been between 6 and 8mil. I suppose people are just not letting go of them these days.

I was an idiot for not buying up mithril claidhmores when they were at 750K to 1M. : slap bonk crack : It just seems moronic to blow that much silver ona 1X weapon. : mutter :

The mith claidhs are currently overpriced. I just got one of those invar +2 claidhs that can hit magical creatures for 2 mil flat. IMHO, the +3 is not worth the extra 3-5 mil.

Damn! Those have jumped too. I used to pick magical invar for 75K a pop.

You mean the ones that don't hit magical creatures don't you Finis?
The +2 ones that don't hit magical critters are still pretty cheap.
Edited to add : Oh nevermind I totally missread. :(
But yeah get invar not mithril, and I'll sell you mine for a nice price.
