I am about to play Dark Alliance II on the Xbox. Tomorrow I start classes, instead of today, due to the mystical, mystical nature of our holiday system.

I'm about to head to my uncle's house to get together with the family. Unfortunately it's because another of my uncle's passed away this morning. I'm kind of relieved though, it's been an ongoing thing now for over 10 years. Hospitals, hospice, etc. My aunt has practically been a mother to him all of this time.

I don't mean to detract from the thread though. On a good note, I got the day off with pay. I'll drink a few beers tonight and watch Clemson beat Florida State.

Went to sister's house to pick up a Phil Collins CD she burned for me. Went grocery shopping. Filled up the gas tank in the car. Ate pain meds because the dental work done in my mouth 2 days ago is irritating me big-time. Took a nap because percosets make me dizzy nauseous and tired. Now in the process of waking up again.

Today sucked, I walked around all day sniffing some glorious meat being cooked (and a few crotches - someon throw some fish on the grill?) and what did I get, a can of some shit called ALPO. All the while my stupid humans ran around with barely any clothes on, which was almost enough for me to lose appetite. 80 degrees is cool? Try that with all this fucking fur on asshole.

And for all of my effort, some silly old drunk bitch left her pecan pie on the ground by her chair, and since a good dog shouldnt starve, I helped myself. Only to find out that the pie had nuts all over it. FUCK! If I wanted nuts, I have my own to lick, I hate pecans!

The only highlight was cannonballing the pool and shedding about two layers of hair off and watch it float towards the shallow end and get all over 'dogs best friend'. That'll teach them not to share the fucking grill. Assholes. At least they could have offered me a beer.

Nope, strictly Nintendo, it's one of their big franchises along with Mario, Zelda, etc.

Just beat it an hour ago. Unbelievably good game, if a bit easy. The graphics aren't as good as BioShock on 360, obviously, but the art style and attention to detail makes up for that. And the controls make it obvious that the Wii should be the platform of choice for shooters. It's going to be hard enjoying Halo 3 using the clumsy dual-analog.
