Sorcerer Guild and spell 740 Help?

I moved this question here as it is a higher traffic area :)

My husband is going nuts at the Sorcerers Guild! He is trying to bond himself with the book for Planar Shifting. He is standing in the Summoning Room but does not see the latticed yellow crystal. He is in the Landing. Is there more then one summoning room in the guild in Landing? What the heck is he doing wrong? Any help would be welcome!

Oh hush, as you can see by my total number of posts since I joined in 2004. I don't think you have to fear the spam. I just realized the traffic area down in that thread stinks and could really use the help. So help or zip it :)

make sure he goes west from the trainer, climbs ramp, go overhang
