I used to think woot was a cool idea until I realized they are the online equivalent to the guy selling stuff on the road that "fell out the back of a trunk". The subwoofer on there right now costs about 10 bucks to make and they are selling it for 250.

Usually I wind up finding one or two things on there during the course of a woot off that are worth it to snag. Figured I'd share!

That vacuum is $10 dollars cheaper than locally and it costs 5 bucks to ship....

I assume you're talking about your locale... since I just saw it for 149.99 yesterday.

I'm just saying it wouldn't be worth it for me to buy it since I can get it locally more conveniently at comparable price.

Not that I'd want one. My sister got one for a wedding gift and it sucks.
