This was true a couple years ago. I'm nearly 100% certain that what you were looking at was shitting enough to have been rendered in the in-game engine.

Games of today are looking more like the cinematic of yesterday.

Any artifacts you're seeing are likely the encoder, adding anti-aliasing is as easy as adding multiple resolutions to a game nowadays.

It has been a while since I played a game where I could carve stuff up with a lightsaber and I always liked throwing stuff around in Half-life 2. This looks like the merging of two good gameplay elements.

I have been a massive fan of all the jedi games through the years, and especially Jedi academy.
It seems this game will take every aspect of the parts I liked most about those games and simply make it unbelievable.

That was pretty cool when he was throwing the troopers around, it looked like pieces of their armor were coming off as they crashed into stuff. And Jedi Outcast and Academy were great, especially once saber-realistic combat was enabled.

You're not kidding. I don't ever play it like a game should, I get all the devmapall cheats going and annihilate everything just for fun in increasingly sick and exciting ways. :)

He not only stopped the star destroyer from hitting him, he was the reason it was pulled from the sky. If you look closely at him you'll see he is bringing his arms down as the destroyer hits the ground. Then raises them to push against the destroyer as it was coming at him. Some pretty cool shit.

I've been a fan of pretty much any star wars game. I really enjoyed knights of the old republic 1 and 2. I also loved jedi academy but this game is fucking amazing. The graphics and gameplay is just sick.

The star destroyer from the sky idea was approved by Lucas himself along with lot's of other torture!
They want this one to be about sheathing your saber and ''Kicking thirass with the force''.
