I'd like to point out that creating an additional thread ups the threadcount of the board, and has the potential to cause MORE clutter if someone bumps the old post as well when they read it.

Why not just bring back the old one so that there is only ONE thread possible on it? Making a new one and then linking it adds to the statistical probability that there will shortly be two on the same topic.

I'll use smaller numbers for idiots.

If you have 100 threads total on a board, bumping a thread leaves 100 total threads. It clutters nothing.

If you create a NEW thread, you now have 101 threads. In this new thread there will be a link to the old. People are free to bump the old at their leisure. No you have the potential for two threads on the same topic in the forefront, AND you have an additional thread that the board did not contain before.

It's really quite simple.

This is because unless readily accessible new instances give even better loot than this many players would completely ignore them oh my God raid instances along the way in levelling simply aren't viable as roads.
