If you have permission to use someone's credit card it's perfectly legal... usually this would require a "signed note" or having to call the credit card company and have their name put on the card (card still says your own name, but it can be signed for with someone elses). Most of the time this isn't verified though.

Charges under $20 (or about that) don't even need to be signed, like you can buy Quiznos on your CC & they won't make you sign it. ... and obviously the whole credit card @ a gas station thing requires no signing, not sure where that falls into it.

Ultimately it falls upon the business to enforce since the card companies really don't give a shit. Big box companies fall in step with the card companies with the same train of thought. I can't count how many times I've paid with a card and was never asked for an ID.

I just checked his myspace and he has budwiser and heiniken on his site as well as Corona... unless they all somehow fall under the Anheiser brand then I would say no.
