So we've got our draft done now. Discuss.

I also have a question for you other FFers. I'm drafting in another league with my friends in a couple of weeks and our league is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, K, DST, and a flex WR/RB slot. Obviously you want a RB in that slot, the question is how many to draft.

For the PC league I drafted RBs in the first three rounds even with 2 slots, so I'm pretty certain I'll at least do that for this league. With QB so deep this year do you think I should go RB RB RB WR RB or RB RB RB RB WR? Also this league gives .5 of a point per reception, does this make Reggie Bush a first round draft choice, especially around 5 or 6?

I think I read somewhere in standard scoring leagues, the difference between top 20 WRs and top 50 WRs was something like 3 points per game. Go RB RB RB RB WR. The .5 per reception shouldn't make the top WRs better than any other normal duty WR.

As for your question with Reggie Bush, that is interesting. But how many catches does he have per year? I just looked it up, he had 88 last year, that's 44 points, spread over 16 games is 2.75 per game. It's not negligible, but won't bridge the gap between him and another premiere back, especially if that back gets 2 or 4 receptions a game.

Draft Brian Westbrook. Not many other tools that Mcnabb has to throw/hand off to.

Brees has too many options other than Bush.

Westbrook, S. Jackson and LT are going to be the best double threats as runners and receivers. Bush is overhyped for what he has really contributed to the Saints team. He has the potential to be great but hasnt put up the numbers yet and probably wont while sharing the rock with Deuce.

I don't think Bush is too overhyped in PPR leagues. Using my leagues format as a base (non PPR league) 1pt/10yd rushing and receiving and 6pts per TD rushing/receiving Bush finished the #17 Overall RB (170pts) the only RB to catch more passes was SJax (90:89) if you got .5 pts per reception Bush gets an additional 44.5 pts (214.5).

If you look at the RBs who finished infront of bush and add .5 per reception it looks like:

1. LT (427 + 56x.5) = 455
2. LJ (327.6 + 41x.5) = 348.1
3. SJax (324 + 90x.5) = 369
4. Gore (258 + 61x.5) = 288.5
5. Parker (255.6 + 31x.5) = 271.1
6. Westbrook (252.4 + 77x.5) = 290.9
7. Tiki (239.2 + 58x.5) = 268.2
8. MJD (224 + 46x.5) = 247
9. Rudi (208.8 + 23x.5) = 220.3
10. Deuce (188.8 + 30x.5) = 203.8
11. Addai (183.2 + 40x.5) = 203.2
12. Betts (182.4 + 53x.5) = 208.9
13. CTaylor (180.4 + 42x.5) = 201.4
14. MBIII (179.2 + 23x.5) = 190.7
15. Green (174.4 + 46x.5) = 197.4
16. JLewis (173.2 + 18x.5) = 182.2

If I rewrote it based on PPR it'd look like:

1. LT Same
2. SJax +1
3. LJ -1
4. Westbrook +2
5. Gore -1
6. Parker -1
7. Tiki same
8. MJD same
9. Rudi same
10. Bush +7
11. Betts +1
12. Deuce -2
13. Addai -2
14. CTaylor -1
15. Green same
16. MBIII -2
17. JLewis -1

Obviously I doubt they grade out the same this year (I also doubt Bush catches 90 passes again) but PPR did make bush a top 10 RB last year in my scoring format. If your league rewards return yards his value goes up even more.

and it looks like MJD might be losing a chunk of goal line carries to another back on the roster, can't remember the name right off. It will be interesting to see how that develops.

You might not always want a running back in that slot - I'd say start with a safe pick (like a handcuff pick) then watch your waivers for the first couple weeks, and take a risk.

Also, you're screwing yourself on your QB (unless your league has like, 5 people in it).

I don't think so, QB is way deeper than RB.

once your past the top 5 qbs, you can basically grab anyone with the same results.

The difference past even the top 3 qbs is just a couple points a week.

I think in PPR you almost have to go RB WR WR RB
