I haven't ever really been into the console world but I'm thinking about maybe getting one soon. Which system do you think has the most/best RPG's out right now and will have the most/best in the future?

As far as I'm aware, *good* RPG's have been pretty few and far between on either system. Right now it seems like Xbox is leading the pack for good games all around though.

But from what I've read, don't discount the PS3 yet, apparently it's just off to a slow start.

Most new consoles get off to a raw start with pretty mediocre games.
360 already has an excellent catalogue of titles you can get into straight away.
And I really believe, that if you're into games at all Assasins Creed will destroy your social life wether you just want RPg games or not.
Xbox will have the better range already in the RPG department and Morrowinds titles will sort you out. But Hopefully the PS3 will prove worth the cash in the long run. Just not right now.

Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon (both upcoming RPGs for the 360) look pretty interesting.

Enchanted Arms is out already and it's pretty much the classic RPG, too.

Last generation it was clearly PS2. 360 is making a big push into RPGs and has the clear lead now. I'd say it's probably a wash, in my mind the 360 is the better system overall now so I would recommend that.

Two worlds comes out soon. It looks pretty good. I think your safe with either system to be honest with you.
