If by patient you mean untill the earth drops out of orbit.

The character market is way down. - However, if all of you are saying that prices have climbed back up, that simply makes me happy, and I will defer.

At least I got one right ... kinda

The characters are selling slowly, but they aren't so slow that I would cut my prices in half. There are still some moving outside of the public sales, and just because they are slower, doesn't necessarily mean they need to be sold cheaper. Part of it's that less people are selling out at the moment.

It's just a lot more trading between current players, as far as I can tell.

I normally would have listed a 'decent' level 58 elven bard at $300-$350, and a decent 41 wizard at $300. Sometimes I get what I list for, sometimes I get a smaller amount, depends on if the buyer feels they can belittle the character in some way or something.

Right now, if they were mine, I'd still be asking $300 for either one, assuming they are good, and don't have gimped stats, or bad training + no fixskills. If they have good stats, and training or a fixskills either one, I wouldn't drop the price. They might be sitting there a long time though, as you said. You just have to wait it out and find the right person who really wants or needs what you have for sale.

I've sold 5 characters over the past 5 days or so, and there was only one that was sold cheap, not seeming to have much of a problem

My prices are high, but you went from what should have been easy profit, to asking what you paid. No idea why you traded him off for a gay empath. :P

The other rogue had similar troubles, selling cheap initially to a supposed investor, and then not being able to get it resold.
