Problem

When I log on using SGE and Psinet 2 my game gets held up at

PsiNet v2.0.1.1282 has intercepted the game connection.

Attempting to contact the game server...
Successfully connected to the game.
Please wait for connection to game server.

It sits there for a good 5 mins then it goes. I am on dial up but this has never happened before and I don't think that is the reason.

Also another thing my psinet won't work on this computer but it will work on my other one I copied the key and put it in on this one but it still won't work any ideas? Also it sits there for a good 5 mins on my other computer too.

Connection speed may be an issue.

I'm neither a computer expert nor an experienced PSINet user, but I noticed that the "handshaking" part of logging in takes much longer with PSINet 2 than it did with the previous version. It sounds like this may be where you are hanging up.

Even on my high speed connection, it takes 5-10 seconds for the game to pop up, whereas it was pretty much instantaneous with the previous version.
