WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Tuesday asked an appeals court to hear his $54 million lawsuit against the dry-cleaning shop that misplaced his trousers, shrugging off legal setbacks and international ridicule.

Judge Roy Pearson filed a notice of appeal with the District of Columbia Superior Court, indicating that he won't abandon the crusade that has turned him into a symbol of America's lawsuit-happy culture.

"Claiming that the shop's "satisfaction guaranteed" sign misled customers who, like him, were dissatisfied with their experience, Pearson sought $1,500 for every day that Custom Cleaners displayed the sign over a four-year period, multiplied by the three members of the Chung family, who owned the business."

...wow. Just wow

Yea, this guy got abused by the ruling judge on the original trial (there's a thread here somewhere with the details).

So now he's back for more punishment. I cant wait to see the appellate ruling, and the thoughts of the judge(s) for this appeal attempt.

The Chungs were nice enough to relieve him of the legal fees he was ordered to pay and the next day he tries to appeal. I can't find the words for this guy.

It'll be fun watching his career tumble even further downward.

That guy needs to suck a bag of dicks.

Suck the entire bag or each dick individually?

edit: You'll only get that if you took that from where I think you did.

This guy really is a total idiot and I hope they disbar him and if he continues with this money and time wasting issue. Seriously this guy is a good example of what is wrong with our justice system. They should fine idiots like this for wasting the courts time.

The owners of the laundry appeared to totally bend over backward for this idiot repeatly and he is totally unwilling to just drop this foolishness. There has to be a mental issue with this guy, maybe they need to have him speak to a doctor and run some tests.

At one point does his job come into jeopardy because of his obvious lack of discretion and reasoning?
