Never really used wands before... Just wondering what wands cast what spells. Anyone able to make a list for me or anyone else who might have the same question?

Bloodwood - Blood Burst (701)
Twisted - Mana Disrupt (702)
Bone - Disintegrate (705)
Clear glass - Mind Jolt (706)
Thanot - Limb Disrupt (708)

That should cover sorcerer wands.

Gold - Some weird sort of fire (906?)
Crystal - Minor Acid (904? Or some other version?)
Iron - Minor Shock (901)
Metal - Major Cold? Some sort of Cold?
Aquamarine - Minor Water
Slender Blue - Minor Cold?

Yeah crystal wands cast 926 which is major acid.

Also silver wands cast 901 too.

Just for simplicity.

Did they change slender blue because they used to be 927 which was like hurl a huge chunk of ice rather than major cold?

I was thinking that too, I checked krakiipedia and it said 907 but I know that doesn't mean it's right. I think it's 927 too.

Metal wands cast 907 major cold, and blue wands i assume cast minor cold. And thats that.

slender blues cast minor cold. It's not a spell wizards know, technically, but if you train in water lore and icepatch a target you can then cast 903 and get the slender blue wand effect.


f Ice Patch is directed at a specific target, it will root them in place, hampering combat. Then, with Elemental Lore, Water training, it is possible to cast Minor Water (903) at the target and it will convert to minor cold (the spell found in blue wands). 10 ranks of Elemental Lore, Water will allow one cast of 903-converted minor cold, with the maximum being thirteen casts at 196 ranks.

Which is pretty cool, as that spell has a huge DF, though the icepatch tie in is useless. With enough water lore you should just have the choice between the two.

you can also have aquamarine wands blessed to cast holy bolt
