Would you look at me differently if I told you I was a lesbian, bi or anything?

I think he just asked as a question, not to offend anyone... I don't mind the question, it would actually be helpful so you knew you weren't offending anyone. I'm straight so who cares.

Fraidycat
11-27-2003, 10:54 PM
I'm straight too I guess . . .
But it doesnt mean I'll be that way forever.
I want to live my life to the fullest and I have to try everything before I die . .
So I don't really have a fucking clue :D

Because the couple people who are the biggest idiots are only pieces of text on a screen about whom one should care absolutely nothing. They feel a need to gain attention in any way possible and only come off looking pathetic because of it. So why not? It's not like any of the possibilities are something to be ashamed of.

I lay claim to the so far sole vote of gay.

I love banging chicks, but I'd probably let a dude suck me off, if I was drunk.

I've had both.

Double the pleasure, double the fun. Double the odds of finding someone to kick it with.

Hot lesbians are so much better than hot hetros.

I fail to see the purpose of this thread. If you want stats for the population in general, they're out there on the net.

If the purpose is to see if gemstone attracts more people of certain sexual preferences more than the normal population ratio then I still fail to see how important that is. It could make an interesting sociology or anthropology paper but I doubt this is the reason.

Knowing Xcalibur I would venture a guess that this is just another attempt at provoking pointless conflict and controversy. :bouncy:

heheh right on it.

And also to concur something i saw that (bisexuality is rarer (more rare) than homosexuality).
Yet, with women, it's way more commun. I'll let you conclude what you want hearing this.

I bet the 2 homosexuals are boys, and the 3 bis are female

And it's just an other useless topic to speak of ourself, some people like that, you know it, ma très chère amie

Weedmage Princess

I'm hetero...I don't understand homosexuality or bisexuality...as in..I don't see why a woman would be attracted sexually to another woman...(I use that reference because I'm a woman..I guess I can understand men being attracted to men more because..well..I like men..heh) but I don't have issues with people who live that lifestyle..whatever floats your boat, turns you on, various cliches, etc...so no, I wouldn't treat anyone differently just because I found out they were homosexual or bi. BUT I could understand why they might not choose to divulge their sexual orientation here on the boards. There are some posters here who are..eh..less..than appreciative and tolerant of people's differences.

Caramia
11-28-2003, 03:51 PM
People don't have to understand it, people don't even have to accept it. What people should do for the sake of a better world is to learn how to be more tolerant of others instead of dividing a world based on our differences.

That's my "wish" for 2004, a bit early. An end to global prejudice and bigotry.

Skirmisher

I've been with both.

I'm not huge on labels, but I understand how it vastly simplifies things for many myself included. Less thought needed, less energy expended to get a feeling of who or what a person is to you and how you feel is appropriate to interact with them.

It's just sometimes we let the label overshadow the whole of the individual and thats too bad.

I once had a woman tell me there was no way I could be gay because I loved pussy so much. Can I say that here? Sorry if it crossed the lines, edit as needed.

I've spoken with other peope about these things and my conclusion is its a matter of choice/comfort. Had a good friend in NY tell me he just liked seeing results from his effort. Yet this guy started out hetero and when I knew him did a couple of hot chicks. I'm beginning to think its just another way for guys to get chicks in bed.

heh, interesting look at things, Backlash.

I'm straight, though I bet most every woman can enjoy the beauty of a woman's body, without touching... The male body just isn't as pretty in most cases.

Ahem.

I really have to disagree with this. It's hardly a choice for most (99%) gay people. In fact, when I first realized I was gay, I fought it with every ounce of my being... but being as you CAN'T change the way you are, I learned to accept it and would never change myself if I could.

I think it's sad that so many families pass the ignorant idea that "being gay is wrong" onto their kids, then when one of ths kids turns out to be gay, they end up hating themselves.

Speaking from experience.

I'm so gay, it's unreal.

Ravenstorm
11-28-2003, 09:35 PM
Agreed. Perhaps for those 'fortunate' enough to be bi, it's a matter of choice. Speaking from experience, I had no say in the matter at all. I wish. It would have been so much easier to be straight. Not that I would change now but coming to terms with it was a bitch.

Being gay is no more a choice than being straight is.

Bi people are fraud

There's no bisexuality (in 98% of the time), there's try to be into the 2 groups to be "neat" and popular

Betheny

I dunno if bisexualism is a crock or not.

I like the cock, but I'll take what I can get. Maybe that's just desparation though.

Honest question for the straight males:

Are any of you disgusted with girl on girl porn? I find it as sexually stimulating as watching two guys go at it, which sadly I accidently catch from time to time on HBO.

Disclaimer: No, not starting a gay bashing session, simply seeing if I am alone in my opinion.

ive said it numerous times that lesbianism is not a turn on for me

::shrug:: Hot babes dancing with each other is enough to give me a woody. I just totally dig women's sexuality. The curves, the affection, the inhibition... it just makes me want to join in the fun!

I don't care what you do in the bedroom. Unless you are molesting kids, then this pacifist will show you what violence really means...

The choice argument is an old one and will probably be debated forever. I'm just going on what I've talked about with various people, plus, what I see as nature's master plan. As callous as this may sound, perhaps nature has provided for homosexuality as a population suppressor.

Again I want to stress I do not think it is an 'evil' or 'bad' thing. Its been documented in wildlife as well as human society.

Betheny
11-28-2003, 10:18 PM
I don't find gay porn (either male or female) to be a turn on.

Xcalibur

Same for me, I'm a man that needs to go "deep" into something.

And watching is bad for the blood pressure:lol:

I am straight, but recognize everyone's right to seek that which makes them happy. I am always confounded by the need of some to judge the choices of others in matters that do not affect the individual doing the finger-pointing. :)

HarmNone cares not what others do

If this means what I think it means (a big jump, I know), then I feel justified in questioning how well you grasp the nature of male homosexual coupling.

Lesbianism: turn on. Maybe that's just the perv in me, though.

I don't even imagine male having sex with other male. I don't find men attractive. I was speaking of female, of course.

Myshel

I'm straight. In my lifetime I've had several gay friends, male and female. One theme I heard from them all was "who would choose this?" Horrific stories of public humiliations to being disowned by their families. I'm a firm believer that homosexuality is in the genes.
As far as bi sexulity, I think that its the non gender definition of pleasure of the body whether male or female. I'm with Harmnone on this, I don't care what anyone does with their body.

Xcalibur
11-29-2003, 08:45 AM
I don't care at all too, I just don't believe there's so many bisexual (since it's everywhere on the tv)

let's not forget we are in an era that anything can be done to have attention

Weedmage Princess

That's a good point, Myshel. Who would choose being gay...given the way homosexuals are treated these days. I remember this girl in college one time made the comment, "Why do I have to be gay?" ...I never thought much about it til now.

Yeah, same on same does nothing for me, either....I asked that question here when the whole Britney Spears kissing Madonna thing was big..I was trying to figure out why guys were so turned on by that...you could take the two hottest guys in the world and have them going at it....it would do zero for me.

Look at the world and look how people are. Do you think people who put tattoos on their face are treated well? Its obviously a choice they made though. People choose to be not "normal" and are proud of it. Does this mean i think people choose to be gay? Nope i dont,i just dont like this argument when people say it.

I don't think it is an argument, its a statement of fact. Equating changing your body with tattoo's or nose rings to being born gay is YOUR argument.

I agree,i just dont like the argument of "Who would choose to be gay?". My sister being gay,i honestly dont believe for one second she hoped for that. Its been rough but she is getting by just fine now after a lot of trouble growing up.
