Need help using fixskills

I've been away for some time, but the hubby and I got the GS itch so we signed back up.

So... I need to know how to use fixskills. I was semi-warpath trained.

I think I want to switch to runestaves and be able to use offensive spells well, but I still want my main focus to be a good empath. I just want to have the option of hunting, or going somewhere with a group and being able to defend myself.

As long as you keep your empath ranks at 1x, you should do fine as a healer.

If you want to go the runestaff route you need to train in at least 9 magical skills per level to get the equivalent ds of 1x in two handed weapons.

if you go the runestaff route, your main form of attack will be 1106, so you'll want to over train in the empath circle to help your cs.
