This happened during an escort tasks on the trail to Solhaven, and I can't figure out what was wrong with the orcs. Maybe it happens normally and I just havent noticed it, but can anyone explain to me what's going on with them (why they slumped) when they attack me?

[Cairnfang, Stepfalls Gorge]
The roar of the river from the gorge below makes talking almost impossible here. The black granite walls of the gorge reflect the river's thunder upward as the water tumbles over huge boulders and arcs from jagged ledges. You also see a broadsword, a half-elven rogue, an elven rogue, a giantman traveller and a wooden shield.

I've seen it happen a few times in that area, though I can't remember for sure if they swung a weapon immediately after.

They do it randomly, nothing sets it off.
