Is anyone else experiencing PsiNet2 not auto linking upon logging in? There's no option to toggle it anymore. Oddly, only 2 of my characters do not auto-link - the rest do. When the characters in question log in, the box pops up as always, except it hangs on "Logging in to game" and never completes the connection from there.

Yes, I did write to Jamus about it, but since I haven't heard anything, I thought I would see if anyone else knew something.

Excuse the ignorance (just re-subbed)... but what is psinet2?

Is this different than the normal "amunet"?

PsiNet 2 is the new version of PsiNet, a utility created by Jamus some time ago. It allows instantaneous global communication and does a bunch of neat things like aliases (macros), moveahead, typohelp, spellup help, and so on.

The amunet is an IG mechanic accessed usually with crystal amulets.

Auto-linking is not a feature of PsiNet2 at this time.

I've had it happen to me a few times, D. It will not give me any issues on 2 or 3 of my characters, but on others it doesn't link at all. No idea what is causing it, but hope if you find out you post the solution here. :)
