Official: Sonic Weapon Song (1012) Alternate Noun Expansion

Wishing to wield a wakizashi? Craving to kill with a kozuka? Ready to rashly regulate a runestaff? Stop sulking and sing your sorrows away with this special sonic surprise!

Sonic Weapon Song (1012) has been updated to reflect the current weapon naming standards. The vast majority of nouns listed on the Weapon Guide of the play.net website (http://www.play.net/gs4/info/armory/weapons.asp) should now be available through the spellsong, with the most notable exceptions being the katana, naginata, claidhmore, and missile weapons.

Some alternate nouns will still require a physical copy of the weapon in order to properly form the sonic equivalent.

What's this?

Can you form a weapon you normally wouldn't be able to by holding one like it in your other hand? Obviously something beyond the katana/claidh bows but.. like before the changes you could make a yarkbalka or whatever it is?

Never knew that.

My best guess (not a Bard, so only a guess) is that there are some weapons, such as a warsword, that can be one of two different bases. At one point, warswords were falchions, but now they're bastard swords.

I don't know for certain, of course.
