So how does stancing work? If I'm in stance D,is it 50% of your total AS (includ. society, strength bonus, weapon enchant etc.) or 50% of just your weapon skill, so at level 100 that would be 200 ranks in a given weapon?
STANCE ADVANCE puts 90% of your weapon skill toward AS
STANCE FORWARD puts 80% of your weapons skill toward AS
STANCE NEUTRAL puts 70% of your weapon skill toward AS
STANCE GUARDED puts 60% of your weapon skill toward AS
STANCE DEFENSE puts 50% of your weapon skill toward AS

Did you just answer your own question?

Did I? So it's just weapon skill that goes down to 50 % at D? Hm, it seemed more...

Stance also affects boosters like CoL signs. There was a big to-do about this at the switch, but meh.

This might be a silly question, but if I were in stance guarded trying to attack something, would that something have a higher chance to EBP me then if I were in stance O and attacking? If so, how big is the difference?

There's nothing to indicate it does; however, there's also nothing to indicate it doesn't. You can be the first to research it and find out! :D

That's like an awesome Greenspan comment.

Hm, I would usually think that more of my attacks get block or evaded if I were in stance d rather then O but I don't know I'll basically have to sit there and swing a few times to be sure.
