Hey I heard throwing a weapon adds +50 to your AS or something along those lines, this true?

No. Kneeling with a crossbow gives you a +50 AS.

Throwing does cut through parry DS, which may have been what the person you heard was talking about. It's not 50 in the general case.

Kneeling with a crossbow only adds +30 to AS now, I think

I dont think there are any auto +50 anythings.. AS or DS. At least not to my knowledge.

No.

You get an AS boost if you KNEEL while firing a CROSSBOW. Only a crossbow. Not a bow. It was at one point +50, though it may have changed as someone mentioned.

DS against hurled weapons and ranged is different than the target's DS would be against a sword. Generally speaking, DS against ranged and hurled attacks is lower.

Also, using the Trap components from Lock Mastery usually has about a +100 AvD against all types of armor.
