Okay check this out, i need a favor, i need mandrake linux 9.2 on CD, its 3 CD's big, the webpage im going to list containse the 3 ISO files that u need to burn the images on the CD's. I can do this because im in Jamaica and its hard to find broadband out here to download this, plus i dont have a burner here, but i really really need this OS, so if u can help, heres the website...

http://www.click-now.net/html/MandrakeLinux.htm

Towards the bottom of the page u'll see something like this: "CD1 CD2 CD3 CD1 CD2 CD3" Okay the first set of CD's i dont need, its the second set of 3 cd's that i need, the second set are 3 ISO files, each one will fit on 1 CD, i need some one to download these 3 files, then burn each one to an individual CD and mail them to me, if you can do this, please respond here with a way for me to contact u, and i'll get u my address.

To make it easier on the person that wants to help me, i'll just post the links here:

CD1: ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/linux/mandrake/iso/Mandrake92-cd1-inst.i586.iso
CD2: ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/linux/mandrake/iso/Mandrake92-cd2-ext.i586.iso
CD3: ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/linux/mandrake/iso/Mandrake92-cd3-i18n.i586.iso

All u gotta do is download these 3 files and burn them as IMAGES to a blank CD...thank you in advance if you can help me.

I'm downloading them now, looks like it'll take about 2 hours (combined) for the first two ISO's. It won't let you connect to their server more then twice from the same PC, so I'll need to wait until one of the first two files are done before I can start on the 3rd. No promise that it'll go out today, depends if they close my office down early.

Anyone else feel free to help, I'm not known for following through (PickPocket Analyzer for GS4.... someday)

I am so sending you goat porn!

I'll set my burner up when I get home and start the process, I'll send them just incase Wezas' don't work or mine don't. Redundancy is a good thing. Better to have and not need than need and not have.

How do you know if im poor or not? U see my bank account? Do you live my life style? Do u walk in my shoes every day? I highly doubt that because u dont even know me, u just know the username GOD, you dont know John, so dont make assumptions about John until you have met john, which i highly doubt you ever will cuz i'd never waste my time meeting someone that offers me nothing in life, financially, mentally, you dont even hold a good enuf argument, the only reason i reply to u iz becuz i have this thing about getting the last word in.

Jamaica, isn't that place almost all carebean (sp there) pirates hang out and there was a huge earthquake that swallowed a city?

Port royal

Located on the Palisadoes peninsula south of Kingston, Port Royal once was known as a "rest and recreation" centre for pirates and buccaneers who roamed the Spanish Main in the 17th century, until an earthquake sank the city in 1692.

11-26-2003, 11:06 PM
Well i gotta go with GOD (heh that sounds funny) on this one... ive spend a bit of time there with friends that moved that way as well as in the BVI and the providers for thoes areas really really blow...

Kurili

Staying in the Tourist Area is NO fun at all. How do you see how a place is, and visit the people, when all you're doing is visiting THE place where the tourists go to say they've been somewhere.

Which may be why I never vacationed much. Would be too easy. I moved a lot. Get to know the place and people that way too!

'Normal thread'? Here? Where is it? It must be destroyed before it infiltrates and brings dreaded normalcy here.

Acolyte Kurili. Yep, I've lost it

No, I mean, like, it doesn't need to be permanently situated at the top of the page. It looks like GOD got his request fulfilled.

You know if nobody sends you that you can BUY mandrake on a CD for like a dollar from their website.

But why would you get Mandrake Anyway? It shouldn't even qualify as linux. They should call it Winux.

Get Gentoo!

Tijay, whatever you do don't take a taxi in Jamaica. Anywhere. Ever.

Seriously.

DaMaGe - I take taxis in jamaica all the time man, thats how i get around - So why would you say not to take one?

-John

DaMaGe

I rode in a taxi one time in Jamaica.

I almost pissed in my pants. I was seventeen.

The guy spent more time looking at and talking to me than he did with driving. Not to mention that it seemed like everyone just drove however fast they deemed necessary, ragardless of who else was on the road. I pretty much just hung around after that, until we left.

-Adam

GOD

Ya man, yo do gotta watch out, cuz they do drive how they want, they see it as they are taxi mon, so they make the rules of the road, they will run people off the road if they feel they have the right ot pass a car infront of them, and they will drive as fast as they want if they thikn it will get them somewhere faster, you just gotta wear your seat belt and not get in a taxi unless it has red license plates (those are the licensed taxis), but i ride in them all the time, there not that bad. Hehe.
