Massive Stone Mattock

Not really "high end" to me, but 20mil+, so I'll put it in here.


Selling a massive stone mattock. 2x, bind flares that turn opponents to stone, fake double strike flares up to 70 that result in knockdowns, lazy scripts when swung, and tappable quake which can be used with no rt, no mana, and in cast rt, and in town without getting arrested (can be used once every 10 to 15 mins or so).

Show:

*The stone mattock is obviously carved from a single large stone. The deep grey stone is unlike any that you have seen before. The mattock looks as old as time itself, and seems to glow with an inner power.*

Lazy scripts:

You swing a massive stone mattock at a frost giant!
AS: +323 vs DS: +57 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +44 = +346
... and hit for 131 points of damage!
Left leg mangled horribly.
The mattock starts to rumble and shake violently!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

You swing a massive stone mattock at an arctic titan!
AS: +323 vs DS: +208 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +20 = +177
... and hit for 48 points of damage!
Internal organs bruised.
The arctic titan is stunned!

The intense rumbling coming from the mattock grows louder!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Quake:

You lift your stone mattock high above your head and slam it into the ground between your feet with thunderous force!

The ground trembles and shakes sharply!
The arctic titan falls to the ground!
The frost giant falls to the ground!
The arctic titan falls to the ground!
The frost giant falls to the ground!
The arctic titan falls to the ground!

Flares:

You swing a massive stone mattock at an ice troll!
AS: +323 vs DS: +264 with AvD: +34 + d100 roll: +35 = +128
... and hit for 16 points of damage!
Jarring blow to the ice troll's back.
With a burst of surprising speed, your mattock twists in your hands and strikes the ice troll again!
... 45 points of damage!
Strike to solar plexus stuns the ice troll.
It is knocked to the ground!
The ice troll is stunned!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

AS: +323 vs DS: +194 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +35 = +206
... and hit for 50 points of damage!
Right hand mangled horribly.
The arctic titan is stunned!
Right after the stone mattock strikes the arctic titan, you see the titan start to turn a mottled grey color. Slowly the color spreads over the arctic titan's entire body. In moments, the arctic titan has been turned completely to stone!

Hi, I just want to let some things be known this weapon is rightfully mine but the guy selling has nothing to do with that part of it, it was borrowed to be tested and possibly sold by someone I trusted Futtilo he reinturned sold it while he was soupposedly testing it so if anyone has dealing with him in the future just be careful exchange items etc etc,he has blocked me on aol instant messanger and ignored me a couple weeks before he blocked me and the new owner and seller of the weapon was willing to trade back so I could get my weapon back. Thanks in advance Windpanguss's player.

Just to add to this:

If Futtilo would like to rectify this situation, I will be more than glad to participate. As it stands though, I had no idea that he sold me an item he had no right to sell (until Windpanguss told me that is).

I am not, however, just going to sit here and hold it, hoping that Futtilo comes out and fixes everything.

So here's the options the way I see it:

1. Futtilo pays me for the item, it comes off the market, and Windpanguss gets money or the item.

2. I sell the item to whomever else and Futtilo gives Windpanguss what he owes him.

3. Futtilo undoes the trade/sale with me and we all go back to the way things were before I owned this.

I'm game for any of these options.

By the way, I just wanted to mention that it's lovely to continue the trend of never being able to sell anything on here without some kind of fucked up drama occurring.

To nip another rumor in the bud before it rears it's ugly head:

This weapon is MATTOCK based. I just used it in the bowels for an entire train. The AvD and Damage Factor comport with the Mattock base against Plate AsGs.

I've had no less than 5 people ask me if (or TELL that) this weapon is quarterstaff based. No, the fuck it is not. I'll let you verify this for your damn selves.

Like I said, I'm also fine with Futtilo rectifying this by doing nothing other than reversing the deal I made with him to obtain this. I would very happily wash my hands of this weapon in any appropriate way.

Yeah, but you definatly F'd with Khariz, who harmed you nil, in the process. Wouldn't have been a bad idea to bring this up when it happened... (and if you did, no reason to bring it up again here)

Khariz wasn't bitchy at all... If you were going to offer to buy it back, why didn't you outright? If you like the weapon I think it's pretty reasonable that you'd buy it back regardless of Khariz' disposition anyway... I'm the one that called you whiney baggage.

I've spent a cumulative total of like 30 mins over the past 3 days (with comments and discussion happeneing here and there) talking to Windpanguss about this issue over the ESP Net in the game.

If he wanted to buy it back he has had more than ample opportunity, and is still welcome to do so.

I even offered to pull it off the market when we first had the conversation, but got no reaction to the comment. His position seemed to be more of a "Well, I just wish Futtilo would do the right thing, but I can't get up with him" kind of postion. All of the options I have given in this thread were presented to Windpanguss by ESP as soon as it became relevant.

And yeah, Celephais explained why I reacted the way I did. I don't think I was really being a bitch (cept for maybe the cussing), I was just upset that this "Drama" was brought here, regardless of the private discussions we have had. As someone else said, if you wanted to smear Futtilo you could have done so in a way that would not have directly impacted my thread.

I apologize for being a bitch and offending you though. I can be a bit abrasive sometimes.

If at any point you do change your mind, and desire your mattock back, I will offer it to you at a discount of my asking price here, just because you got screwed.

Hrm, on a totally unrelated note, when it comes to that particular weapon's flares...

Querthose volunteers to wrap presents for orphan halflings more often than it flares.

having said that, it's truly a piece of GS history.

Do what? I'd say it flares every 5 swings or so. It's actually quite predictable, as you can watch the buildup via the lazy scripts.

Knowing that you will either get a knockdown or a bind every 5 swings isn't so bad.

It's a nice weapon. I've owned two versions of it. This one and the hammer which is a blunt. The bind flares are not very often( maybe once in 50-100 swings). The other flare is pretty frequent. I liked the hammer version better because the mattock hits so hard the flares were not as impactful as they are on a ohb. Overall, it's a neat weapon.
