They actually made coupe de grace a viable cman and not just a showy one. With 3 ranks I'm getting some nice AS returns 25 to even 50. They also lowered stam on it, at 3 ranks I use 25 stam and the time has been increased to 1 min 30 seconds. Anyhow, just wanted to share.

It isn't very viable. Not considering how it used to be, the reduced stamina cost and in the imba buff it would give. It just isn't reliable enough.

At lower levels, coup is nice, but once you hit upper 40s, nothing stays stunned long enough to pull it off... I just finally migrated off my 4 ranks...

What with how many CMans warriors get... would seem to be worth getting, just not worth relying on. I imagine this is really great against "particuarly dangerous" bounties, where the creature has so many extra hit points.

No it would be useless, because dangerous mobs like that don't stay stunned long enough, or are too difficult to stun (or if at all).

I guess I'm coming from a grouping with a warrior aspect... having someone else stun the creature so you can coup it (and then the coup bonus helps you both). I can see the difficulty in soloing w/ it.

Thinking about it, I don't remember grizzled mobs being stunnable at all.

Yep, I thought so. Which makes coup utterly useless against them.

I wonder if being Crowd Pressed counts as incapacitated. That would be fancy and a half.

Not that it would really matter to someone with the coup de grace CMAN, but I'm 99% sure that a Sorcerer can still stun a mob boss with Nightmare and/or Evil Eye.

Wait I don't understand Ponzzz, what weapon are you using? I can usually leg critters with my warrior with my lance which not only reduces them to below 50% hp but also stuns them for like 8 rounds. Isn't Coup De Grace instant, like you type cman coup target and it does it's thing?
