Anyone have a favorite farming spot to suggest?

I don't actually farm motes of shadow, but what about the voidwalkers in Hellfire? I think the area is called the Warp Fields or something like that.

Yeah there was way too many people the few times I checked it out so I'm searching for other possibilities.

Currently I farm around Oshu'gun but drop is so/so. They do drop a ton of netherweave however so it makes up for the average mote drop. They also drop crystal powder for rep and they're only lvl 66 and can be killed in less than 10 seconds.

I'm not sure if they upped the drop rate since I last farmed here but it seems pretty good now.

This is less than 10 minutes of looting.

Demons no longer drop shadow as of 2.1 Only void type mobs.

For those interested I'll share my findings on this location.

70 Feral kitty with 2000 ap 29% crit. Kill time 5-10 seconds.

PLENTY of mobs. Just do a circle around the crystal resulted in very little time between mobs.

Time: just over an hour
Vendor trash gold:9
Raw gold from loot:17
Motes of shadow:42
motes of air (I chased down a few air elem's off in the distance) :2
Netherweave: 131
Oshu'gun crystal powder :31
Four ah quality greens and 1 eternium lockbox
1 gold repair bill.

All in all not a bad place to grind for them .. the best I've found so far.

Yeah from the comments on Wowhead it seems to be the favored farming location since demons stopped dropping them.

I farmed them everyday from 60-70 so I could cap with shadowweave. My preferred spot, because it was fucking easy was the shadow elemental bit in HP, in the middle south of the map. The place with those big blue clouds rumbling about. I'll get coords if you need them.

Yeah I'll check out those coords if you will. I like my location but I'm always open to something improved.

They were super cheap on the AH when I was still playing.

I farmed fire and water motes and was so damn close to my epic flying mount :(

Yeah the price has shot up since demons drop it anymore... they used to be almost worthless.

there's always www.thottbot.com - but some of the % have been screwed up in the last couple of patches so they're not accurate anymore.
