If I understand the story, it goes something like this:

- Some guy died in real life

- Some people held a funeral for his WoW character, sending his body off in the water (?)

- Another group of people get wind of this, and go kill everyone at the funeral

- Overreaction everywhere, hilarity ensues

Actually...

- Some girl died in real life.

- Some friends held a funeral for her character in Winterspring by her favorite fishing lake.

- Said friends mentioned on forums where the funeral was going to be held.

- Opposing factor said "free honor!" and raided the funeral.

- "She loves the snow... and fishing... and pvp!"
