WTF is that interface? It looks AWFUL.

Awful? Why, because it doesn't clutter up 80% of my screen? The less clutter on my screen, the better. I have a bunch of keybindings that aren't visible too.

Damnit firefox always blocks your virus laden pictures and I have to load IE to see wtf you posted.

Uh, a giant black box for chat? Shitty 2D looking health bars? If you don't want a lot on your screen, the UI scale exists for a reason. Mine's reduced; I have no clutter, either, but I still use the WoW interface.

Ok seen it.. I don't particularly like that interface either for some reason.. something just bugging me about it. The font for one. What resolution and monitor size do you use?

While I don't really like the interface myself... both of those are actually good aspects. A black box for chat means the graphics card doesn't have to bother trying to alpha blend the chat window, and it means it's easier to read. Health bars are the same way, I want no-nonsense quick legible at-a-glance values for things that are mission critical.

All that other crap might be flashy and pretty, but the one time you're tired and not paying attention and you mis-read something because of it, it's not worth it.

IMO.

Edit: The more I look at it the more I like it... Normally I'm all over tiny fonts, but WoW is very "phone it in" if I can lean way back, hell play from my bed w/ a wireless keyboard mouse, and read my monitor across the room his setup would be pretty solid for that.

Maybe you need the video card to work less, but I sure don't. And not having transparency in the chat window (mine has really small font and takes up less of the screen than the one pictured) is better for me. I can also read the game's interface better in terms of health amounts than the one pictured. But, yeah, it's all personal preference.

I think that's XPerl, I liked it back when I played. It's got (or had) some nifty raid features.

1920 x 1080 on a 37" LCD.

As for the chat box, I tend to adjust the size of it and turn the transparency on and off depending on what I'm doing at the time.

I think that's XPerl,

It is.

And here's my UI with a transparent chat box.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to avoid UI clutter, like this:
