Not only is my Apple stock still doing gangbusters (It went up 5% on a rumor of selling the iPhone in Europe earlier than anticipated) but I own buttloads of Hilton stock (worked for them for 8 years), both in my 401K and my portfolio. Hilton was purchased by Blackstone Group.. raising the price 25% in 1 day of trading.

Best week ever for me in the Stockmarket.

I only like Apple, because I was able to buy all of Scrubs season 6 through iTunes.

25% just for being bought out? Damn.

That's what happens to stock when it's trading at $34 a share and a company says "I'll buy it for $48 a share!"

I guess it's late now, but alluc.org has pretty much every episode of Scrubs (and many other shows and movies) for free.

Except you have like 100 shares so you made shit. Let's be realistic here.. you waste more money on mandals and socks than you earn on your paltry amount of shares.

I got into Apple at $83, but I could only afford 12 shares.

My 'if-I-had-money-I'd-actually-buy' portfolio is up 33% since Aug '06. Oh well.

Cool, people that watch Scrubs have no life.

I don't.

I was working for Hilton as a General Manager for 8 years. JUST in my 401k, I put away 15% of my salary.. and Hilton matched dollar for dollar on the first 6% for the first 3 years, then $.50 on a dollar for the last 5 years. For 3 years or so, the price was near $6 a share, and last week it valued $45

Pretty easy to do the math... and that's not even including the shares I have in the Executive Deferment program, purchased Stock options and a small amount I purchased in my portfolio.

Then add in my Apple shares that grew 5% last Thursday (they have subsequently retreated)

It's pretty simple math without coming close to being specific.

I think we can reduce alot of threads by just making a "Gloat about myself thread". Everyone can post their success that nobody else cares about and stop cluttering everything.

Good job on the stock but nobody cares.

Except all those prices and percentages have no quantity associated with them. I can turn a 10000% revenue in seconds.

PB how are you not posting about your AAPL?! Market heads down and its one of the only stocks up in a big way that day.

Well, it was just making up for losses the day before.
