The kroderine I believe has dispelling flares or something along those lines.. Pulls spells off the person you are swinging at randomly.

How many spells per flare?

Random?

Level based?

Just 1 per flare?

Not sure last time I saw it was like a week after EG.. That is one of the things that pisses me off more than anything.. People winning amazing items and then disappearing possibly forever and these great items are lost. I know it pisses a lot of people off but that is one of the reasons why I try and obtain every high end item possible, that way I can find an owner I know won't leave with it for good.

LOL. What a crock of horseshit.

Since this isn't a sale or looking to buy, can this thread be moved to one of the other Gemstone folders? I really want people to comment more on the above quote. That's comedy gold right there.

i think kroderine had a stupidly high level requirement, so it may have been lockered by the winner until they can hold it.

Did Tsin's post make anyone else throw up a little bit in their mouth?

He said "one of the reasons" guys. He only price gouges so that he can afford to buy all of the really nice items and save them from the void, if Simu were to re-introduce items on deactivated characters into the treasure hopper he would sell things at a loss, really.

Level 80.

Problem with reintroducing is Simu loves old players and wants them to beable to have their character as it was when they left... in the off chance they come back some day.

I moved this thread to General Gemstone. Until I get the new folders put in, mechanical questions and discussions about random items should go here. Thaaank you.

Tsin's belief is why I try to leave the game with as many high end items as possible.

Sorry for starting in the wrong folder.

That aside, WHO'S GOT THE BLEEDIN' THING?!

Celephais

Well nil's site says "Eiadh" won it, a search for Eiadh turns up a semi-old site, but it has an archer empath guide that was last saved 1/19/2007 ...

For whatever that's worth. (searching Eiadh GS4 in google will turn up her site w/ her play.net if you want to email her)

Didn't that stupid skatermom bitch win that sword? I remember her having a tiff when Nilandia posted the stats of it.

I know heather won the sword but I recall her selling it I think.

Was she a skater?

No idea. The official's member SKATERMOM is basically one of the biggest tards over there.

Ediah was selling the sword for awhile, but there was no posting to if someone bought it, if she still has it, etc.

It dispels just like any flare works, except instead of damage, it dispels.

It has a high level requirement to hold it(60 or 80).

All i know.

Ediah is Azureth on the officials, IIRC.

According to her website, yes Eiadh is Azureth.

you guys should get together and solve crimes. Now just think of a really clever name and start sleuthing.

If crimes could be as easy as figuring out text based mysterious, I'm in!

The level requirement is 80th level as I own the version in Platinum currently.

Kinda useless weapon...? Unless the thing flares on every hit. I hope to god the krodera smithed weapons with the new mining expansion won't be like this.... the descrip says it nullifies ALL MAGIC CAST ON WIELDER, COME ON?!

TheEschaton

But then again, when an Ithzir is casting something at you, might be useful.

But what the hell do we, seasoned players of this game, know?

Hm, either I misunderstood how this weapon works or you misunderstood me. From the descrip it flares "dispel magic" which nullfiies the spells a target is wearing and not prevent them from casting altogether.

And even if it did prevent them from casting altogether, the randomness from the flares make it unpredictable for a long stable hunt. I'd rather invest some money in some nice armor or a weighted weapon.

As of May Eidah still had it. The only reason I know this is because I was going to buy it. I may still if I ever level the character I want it for up high enough. I don't believe she was actively looking to sell it though.

Both versions of dispel will eliminate a prepped spell from a creature. So if the creature has a spell prepped during it's prep RT (usually 1 round) and it flares dispel the spell is gone and the creature has just wasted it's time.
