I'm having a poaching problem when I use my wizard to perma haste my pally. In order for the pally to attack, I had to take out the also here: match on the script to get it to hunt. Is there a different command or match to get the script to hunt with a partner?

It's been a while since I coded any wizard scripts, so if you're doing a few LOOKS in the room from the time that you enter, it may freeze if someone walks in before you start swinging. I'm sure if that's the case, you'll need to add something that will match attack Also here: *, Wizard ... I just don't remember what the format is.

I used to run the wizard in invisibility so it didn't interfere.

well, that too, but invis does fade, and some critters can still find you.

It's incredibly easy to have the wizard run concurrent checks to keep the paladin hasted and himself invisible.

Invis doesn't stack, it's refreshable. Also, anything will be able to pull you out of invis. My 25 wizard gets pulled by rats when hasting my newbie characters.

Not that I recall. I made a thread about it not stacking.

Try a wizard who doesnt cast over 30 mins of invis at a time.. then 405, then cast invis again and 405. See if it was higher.

My 20th lvl wiz cant even get a read on duration with 405 atm. Or I would post the results I found last time I was pissed off about 916 not stacking 'properly'. Whether it is suppose to or not, I still don't beleive it stacks right now.

To be fair, a PsiNet reading isn't a GemStone reading, but the word "extended" is definitely not "refreshed."

The official docs on it from play.net say refreshable, although those have been known to be wrong from time to time. I don't know though, I can't recall ever being invisible for the entire duration.

Try using 405 like I said. In my previous test it said extended and still didn't extend the duration.

PSInet and lich both miscalculate duration on some spells. Especially if its someone else casting them on you.

You are visible again.

Looks like the extended version isn't much longer than the original cast. That needs to be bugged.

I bugged it when I last figured it out. I don't beleive they care, or its supposed to be refreshable and not stackable.

If the wizard is grouped with you, he will not be on the "also here" list until you LOOK again. What I do is use PUT to move so it doesn't wait for the room description and set up all the necessary matches. If it determines it has a target and no one else besides the wizard is in the room, it attacks. When it kills, it goes to a subroutine called KILLlook, which ignores the "also here" because you were the first one in the room. Unless some dude was hidden, of course.

You could split the routine into a match for

Match Also Here: The wizard.<-----it will pick up on the period
Goto attackroutine

Match Also Here: The wizard, <----will pick up the comma
Goto Move

you would have to re-write the script but i think it would work, i used to use matchs like that in the temple to pass dogmatists but still kill heirophants and supplicants

PsiNet is wrong, 916 does not stack. This is with 60 wizard ranks at level 100, not that level matters. "...a lot of time..." is under one hour.
