Aside from paying multi-millions which i don't have or buying silvers...whats a good way to procure a decent small shield.

The rogues guild in the Landing has a simple vultite buckler that should work for the time being and it's only 60k. I am currently using a Vaalin Banded Shield from howevery many years ago they came out. But I am looking to get a small shield to take better advantage of my training(1x shield/2x dodge).

Any advice on where to get something better than the rogues guild offering without forking over ridiculous amounts of money for a shield with more often than not, horrible descriptions?

edit: as an aside, I've been paying attention to the auction folders, and merchants folders...but even something like a 5x or 6x is going for ridiculous amounts of money most times.

60k is a pretty good price for 4x, but odds are if you see the several hundred k you'll have to spend for a 5x+ as absurd, with all due respect, you're probably some low level noob (what, I said with all due respect), and the difference in training won't really be that much.

Go to the armory and buy a buckler and a wooden shield... check how much your DS changed from one to the other, it won't be a lot... so then consider your current shield (+20?) vs the 60k one (+20 +small) and see if it's worth it to you to wait or not.

To answer your real question, what with playershops.com on the fritz it'll be tough.

4x small target shield from the rogue guild... ~40k unless the price has changed since I last checked.
