So, i got a large chunk of wands that I had been putting aside for deeds...only thing I don't is remember how items are counted towards the cost. Say a thanot wand appraised for 850 silver at the pawn, but a bard sings and it shows 3500 silver worth...what numbers do I use when determing how much i've put towards the cost of my deed?

Also, gems...if the pawn appraises gems at one value and the gemshop at another, I use the gemshops numbers. How does that affect the value of wands appraised at the pawn...because he appraises lowball anyhow.

Any advice is appreciated...and I'll probably use gems at Hearthstone in the future since they are 3x the value for deeds?

Gemshop for gems, pawnshop for wands I would say

And make sure the guy doesnt have trading skill or take it into account. I am assuming those methods of gaining deeds take the base cost of the item more or less - and wont care if you have trade skill and charisma.

I was under the impression gems were 3x at temple, and wands were 2x or 3x at hearthstone. Gems do not count at hearthstone at all as far as I recall

And lockpicks broken or not count at hearthstone - those were my favorite to use, broken lockpicks. Other magic items work as well. Mithril falchions etc.. not sure if drake weapons are worth trying to use or not.

I am going to have to disagree with you Death, I've went to HS recently and used scarabs and rubies and diamonds AND sapphires to get deeds I didnt calculate how much but i know 1 bug and 1 sapphire was 2 deeds and then it would go up a gem or two depending on the gem and how many deeds you have but I'm level 37 and took 1 bug and 1 sapphire for first 2 deeds...idk but I know they work..

Deeds cost the same forever after you start spending over 1500 silver.

I forget the exact cost for the rubies: wasn't it 3-4k?

I generally use wands, scrolls, gold rings, drake/feras weapons, gems and herbs(Takes a shitton) for deeds at HS in various combinations, or in groups of the same things.

I rarely have a problem getting deeds unless I'm over 30 deeds or so.

Gems may be usable at hearthstone - but you would have to use 3x as many of them. If you are using gems you shouldn't be there. You should goto the temple.

Is this true? I thought there was some sort of level requirement?

From what I knew it keeps going up based on level and number of deeds.

I use busted vaalin lockpicks (HS) and scarabs (temple) for deeds for the most part, if I'm out of those and still require deeds I ususally have a satchel full of regular deed quality gems to use at the temple.

I also still use the little program for temple deeds called Kalguardian's (sp) Deed Machine. I remember downloading that way back in the day and its still useful for temple deeds.

If you spend more than 3k on a deed, no matter what your level, you are stupid.
