When I was in high school some genius had the bright idea to use duct tape on the back of that stupid "watch the football team charge through the paper" banner to make it more readable in the rain or some really stupid reason like that.

Long story short, they used so much duct tape the team couldn't break the paper, even at a full run, so they succeeded in dislocating the shoulders of both of the poor shmucks holding the banner... I think two or three of the players got injured as well, I can't recall it exactly.. Very tragic, and funny as hell.
