I've been running a few tests with the dyers tent and player-forged weapons... Which leaves me with a ton of assorted mithril falchions. If anyone wants one, just post here claiming it. They're free to a good home. All have +1% to DF and AVD.

an elegant grey mithril falchion
an elegant black mithril falchion
an elegant crimson mithril falchion
an elegant scarlet mithril falchion
an elegant blue mithril falchion
an elegant crimson-hilted mithril falchion
an elegant blue-hilted mithril falchion
an elegant ebony-hilted mithril falchion

I can also add the following descriptors to them:

Well-made
Elegant
Fine
Nice
Plain
Simple
Crude
Lop-sided
Flimsy

Woah. When'd they put in the color mod?

And how did it get a one word color difference instead of adjective + color? If you mean the Reignbeugh's? S'pretty cool. Publish your research! :D

Here's what I've found out...

You can get a one-word color descriptor from the dyer's tent, at the expense of the hilt... Unless you dye the hilt, which gives you a colored hilt rather than a type of material (maoral, oak, monir, etc).

When you dye a completed weapon, it'll turn into say... 'a glittering golden mithril falchion', which was formerly 'an elegant monir-hilted mithril falchion'. Then I take the falchion back to the forge, and lean on the polisher to bring back the elegant adjective in it, the final outcome is "an elegant golden mithril falchion".

So... That being said... Anyone want a completed falchion? :p

Furthermore... If you dye a finished blade before you complete the weapon, it'll turn it into steel. Even if it's mithril, vultite, golvern, etc. however it doesn't turn iron or bronze to steel. It only goes down, not up...

So be careful!

Yeah, I found a bug when making marine blue falchions into elegant, they become "elegantne blue mithril falchions".
