Due to technical difficulties, the FAME verb has been temporarily disabled. Players will continue to earn fame as usual and individual fame may be checked at any time by using the EXP command. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update NEWS as soon as the FAME verb has been reactivate

Ayup, they did that yesterday.
Edit: We were getting entirely too much fame from critters in the course of one nights hunting i gained about one mils worth of fame thanks to overhunting while fried. So i would assume they have returned it to normal and are making certain adjustments.

Yeah I got a good 1 mil fame in a night the other night. And I only worked off 15k exp
