Book Writing.

Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to use names and personalities from a Message Board to write a Book would that be bad?

For example, If some person wrote a book using the name Edine and Tsa'ah as handsome rogues in their story, is it cheating? Kind of make it soap operaish maybe have a few girls named Maimara or Michiko in it?

Not saying anyone is doing that just wondering!!! I wonder about funny things sometimes. :saint::saint:

What kind of personality would your character have?

Disclaimer: Okay these are just examples as I guess your characters would play in a story. Not saying you are really like it but your personality may show a little of what I describe. SO don't throw tomatoes at me! This is just for fun.


1. Maimara would be the pretty ass-kickin gal like Sydney on Alias.

2. RangerD1 would be the brave warrior with a few personal issues that contributes to him being numb to some things.

3. Harm None would be the wise owl or the voice of reason among the group.

4. Red Devil would be the jackass.

5. Warclaidhm would be the goofy guy that purposely asks for a toilet bowl swirlie.

6. Lalana would be the princessy model. Twirling her hair around her finger.

7. Teeoncy would be the manipulating temptress.

8. Parkbandit would be the sly sneaky one with quick hands.

9. Leloo would be the uppity one sitting always on a soapbox.


Well you get the idea.

What type of personality do you think your inner character would have if someone wrote a book using you?

Books are fun. My inner character would be uselessly smart (you know the type). But I can run pretty fast.

i sorta disagree .. autobiography's can be a great source of passing information from generation to generation. i know in my case its the best way for me to get the information of my grandmothers life during ww2. she has a hard time sitting down and talking about her life and its easier to read her accounts. she doesnt do it for anyone besides her and her family.


but to stay on topic seeing as how its a fantasy game and a good port of gs has names taken from other games/books etc. i dont see a huge deal. but if you start capturing personalities i think you should atleast mention it to the people your borrowing from.

Weedie: I picture her to be a defiant headstrong princessy type whos often pretty stubborn.

Daina: Would be with Harmnone as a voice of reason with an attitude.

Tayre: Would of course be the Tool of the Story. I picture him being loved by the group but also with a kick me sign on his butt. A cute butt though! :ducks:

Latrinstorm would be the guy with tape inbetween his glasses and a good pair of running shoes on his feet. bwahaha.

The girl who shall not be named: would be the one running from clique to clique trying to find one to accept her, only she ends up making a mess of things. She goes and sits in the corner, folding her arms with a scowl on her face, and whines cus she just can't figure out why.

Halfsilver: would be the Opie look alike with not much really to say unless its about a certain person then he turns in to a raving maniac. A Dr. Jekylle and Mr. Hyde type personality.

Ben: would be of course be the bully type who tries to come off as a um... tuff guy who hides a inner soft spot.

Kranar: would be the big daddy guy who keeps everyone in line.

Hehe, I see Caiylania as the really sweet, little innocent girl who just tries to have fun with everything.

Tayre as the arrogant, loveable and slightly annoying one.

Michiko as the sweet, often very peppy type who loves a challenge.

stray as the one who wishes to do all the women and has some inner anger building up.

Stun as the calm collected one who has a sick sense of humor often time.

however she keeps failing because tayre is too busy humping her leg for her to do anything.

the old hags of the story, weedmage and spungirl will be the nosy neighbors from across the street who watch all the ongoings from their rocking chairs across the street.
