I forget the puzzle for the stairs, but you just go climb rocks (or something), search, go crack, kneel, ne, se, se, search, go crack, and you're in the area that looks like this

The six center rows align left to right, up to down, the leftmost bottom one connects to the two adjacent to it and the rightmost center one connects to all three rooms.

Best path to go starting from the bottom left is e, e, ne, w, w, n, e, sw sw, repeat.

Of course without experimenting with the messaging the rest of it is a bit harder to build, but you get the idea.

EDIT: The key to get it to work its best is to match the last item of the room description for when you enter a room and initial check for myklians is to let it match for ... follwed.
