Anyone bothered buying a treasure chest with bounty points yet? Get anything good out of it?

I bothered to do it. I also did the magic item creation thing.

I dont think its worth it really.

I have several magic items from that, which say they are a magical item used for healing. But wouldnt tell me what spell if any it had, and rubbing - tapping - waving - raising did nothing. Still baffled by those.

I think I got the highest tier recently. I didn't know how hard it was to open, so instead of asking for a locksmith I took it to the NPC and paid 800 silvers to get it open. Inside the box: 500 coins.

yeah i got as much or more sometimes from the low tiers than i did from the high ones

I think they are purely random - and i am not sure there is any sort of low end limit on the things.

There might be a high end limit so you could possibly get better stuff from higher tiers, but I doubt there is any chance for boxfounds or anything.

A joke really I think.

they are a horrible waste of points, I purchased 2 of the higher/est tier ones, and they didnt have crap.

Just curious but anyone actually have them opened by a locksmith to check the difficulty on the boxes?

Unless I'm just a failure in life and GS, they don't work for lock mastery either. I tried it with a few of them and didn't get any reps at all.

If they actually do, then there might be some usefulness for them after all.

That's what I was thinking they were for. Because we all know the loot is shit. So after I bought a few top notched for them to only be very easy lock, that didn't work out.

But I believe someone on the officials said they come from the low end treasure hopper. So i guess there is a chance for a box found?
