This may be bad form, I dunno, but I'd consider it bad form NOT to say something.

I've always considered Portous' prices low, and as such wouldn't beat up someone who wanted to sell imbues/imbedding services for higher than he does...But, he offers 40 amulets with the wizard spell of your choice for 60k, and his amulets (in my experience) would very often hold 9 charges.

15 more amulets at nearly 1/3 of the cost seems like you're pricing yourself out of the market to me, but hey, just my opinion.

Edited to Add: It's entirely possible I'm missing something, and if so feel free to correct me. This isn't meant to be a flame, I just don't see an obvious reason for such an extreme difference in price. Maybe you're just that good.

Just bought some amulets; super duper hasted speedy service.

Portous's prices are indeed lower (I've always considered his absurdly low, compared to what's available on playershops), but I have never dealt with him except for arrows. I might buy from him, but the convenience of getting these in mere minutes (!) was worth the drop-in-the-bucket silver-wise. Plus, it's still markedly cheaper than if I went playershop-to-playershop and picked up the same number.

Yes I do make them up custom for quite cheap. I also keep a in supply stock of haste bracelets (wear and tap) in the Landing in Peritta's shop. And currently have 100 wear and rub haste amulets in the Garnet Moth on Four wind Island.

My haste imbeds do have 10 charges each and do cost 2k per...when in stock. I have made contact with my competitors as to possibly selling them my blanks and they could use them thus increasing their product quality.

I wish them well in their business...but if the demand is good enough. I'll also start stocking haste items in the Garnet Moth on 4wI. Most of you can acess it from any town. Anyhow..best to all. give me a shout at Casca@play.net
