Nice. Plus that video led to Brock Lesnar's first MMA fight which was last night apparently:

Indeed it was. Impressive, too.

wow, his ground technique is awful. Brock's not ready for the UFC apparently.

Was it just me or did he outweigh the guy he was fighting by like 50 pounds?

Doesn't really matter if he outweighed his opponent by 50 pounds or not. One of the early draws for me to UFC was the lack of a defined weight class, and I think it lost a lot of spark when they started to wrench down the rules. Being big and powerful has a different set of pro's and con's than being small and quick, but they can be overcome as proven by Gracie (as much as I hated him and the way he fought), and it was always fun to see the Davis and Goliath matchups.
Also, the UFC is full of people who have horrible groundfighting techniques, so not sure what you mean he isn't ready. There are plenty of people with strong Muay Thai backgrounds and little else for their arsenal in the UFC, though they don't last long generally.

I liked UFC better when there were no weight classes too. I still remember in UFC 2 when Tank Abbott knocked the shit out of some 600 pound Samoan guy so hard that his whole body started twitching on the ground, flopping around like a fish. Good times.
Then UFC got nerfed :(

I think I could take Big John.

No that wasn't it. The guy in the match I'm talking about makes that guy look like a midget. That clip was from UFC 6. I'm pretty sure the one I was talking about was from UFC 2.

Lesnar just destroyed that guy. His technique on the ground didn't look great, but he's probably strong as hell, plus obviously has proven wrestling. Hope he makes it.

I didn't think he was hopeless but he looked bad against an apponent he was clearly supposed to dominate.

. . . the Davis and Goliath . . .
Davis always was hilariously diminutive.

I guess when you have nothing to add, pointing out a typo is always the cool thing to do. Thanks.

The Samoan "bonebreaker" specialist. I watched that and the interview with Tank after the fight was rather odd; Tank said he was getting aroused by his win.

Yep that's the one I'm pretty sure.
