Arrows and eblade?

Did something happen with eblade and arrows?


I'm using a 4x bow..and 0x arrows. My AS is 204.

Using the same bow, and some freshly ebladed arrows, my AS is only 216 :(

Whats up?

The only thing i can think of is your not level 20 so you cant use the full 8x yet?

Correct Tendarian. The way archery works is weird with bonuses in that you can use them, but it only goes up to the max enchant you can hold for your level.

Enjoy them now, from what i understand they are going to take away our ability to eblade arrows once 4x bows are made available in the shops. So in a year or two well lose the ability...

I heard it was being able to eblade the bows themselves was going to be taken away, not the arrows themselves.

Yeah, who knows how long it will take to fix the arrows. I don't understand why Simu continues to fix stupid things like this which I wouldn't consider broken instead of fixing REAL problems.

I havent played elrodin in a few months, what happened to arrows?

There is a proposed change that arrows will no longer be able to be e-bladed when enchanted woods for arrows are introduced.

ahh, that must have been the change that i heard about. Would make a bit more sense that way.

Stray, there was never the ability to eblade a bow, not in the recent years where all the new archers have joined anyway. I tested this a few years back when i was first starting out because i didnt want to pay the 200k for a 4x bow. The only way it would work is if you decided to swing the bow at the critter instead of shoot it.

You could eblade a bow, but you wouldn't get the additional AS that the eblade offered by using the bow in the correct manner. Where the eblade came in was when you swung it like a blunt weapon.

And I heard that it was this that they were taking away.. not the fact that you can eblade arrows.

It shouldn't be bad, though...if the natural enchant of magical woods will be there for arrows.

SOme of the woods have bonuses up above 25, so it might actually be better, although a little more expensive. =/

according to the guide on magical woods the higher enchants will be very rare. I wouldnt expect on seeing many 5x arrows around, and unless they plan on changing the way arrows are lost then im not sure i would ever buy any. I will stick with 3x-4x depending how they are priced.

Fletched arrow + eblade = 5x arrows WITH FLARES. Why would anyone pay lots of $$ for rare wood to get the less than this result? Especially given the fact that arrows can be lost by the best of archers.

No thanks.. I'll stick with the ones I can make out of logs or golem bones.

thats the point Stray, the ability to eblade is going to be taken away. im not sure if they will sell the wood to fletch our own arrows or sell the arrows precut, but there will be no more eblading soon enough.

Incorrect. Please see my previous post. The ability to eblade the BOW or CROSSBOW will be taken away... so you won't get the 4x while swinging the bow or crossbow.

The ability to eblade the arrows, to my knowledge, is not being taken away. If you have some different information, please share it with us.

I dont remember where else i heard it but it is not the first time that it has come to my attention.

I think it's a misunderstanding is all... the ability to eblade the item you use to sling your arrows will be taken away... not the arrows/bolts.

And it wouldnt make sense to take the eblading of arrows away as some critters can only be hit with majickal arrows, wood sprites for example.
