I think he doesn't get the media coverage/attention he'd probably like to have is because not only does he seem to be more than a little bit insane, and psychotic, but also has signs of paranoid schizophrenia, IMO. Then again, the lack of media attention may also have to do with the fact that these aren't the kind of people you want to be giving media coverage to from a media standpoint. It's not only dangerous to give these people a larger voice it can also prompt others to follow his lead in terms of recruiting others who believe this garbage.

Alternately, if a white man called for the slaughter of every black person on earth it'd probably be a media circus. Why this doesn't happen when a black man emphatically states that whites should be exterminated is a question better posed at those who should be taking a stand against such racist rhetoric.

Actually the shit over this is just now hitting the fan. It could have been a white guy spewing this shit, but since it happened on c-span ... no one was watching or able to stay awake long enough to catch it.

I don't think his skin color had much to do with coverage of the story, or lack there of ... rather it was broadcast on a station (and probably in a time slot) that gets very little real attention unless it's a senator or the coverage of some government scandal.

Actually the shit over this is just now hitting the fan.This happened in Oct. of 2005. If it had been a white guy spewing this shit, I doubt it would have taken this long for the shit to hit the fan. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been all over it is my assertion.

I think his skin color had more to do with the lack of coverage on the story as opposed to the mediocre coverage it received online in blogs, forums, and internet news articles. Also, the fact that at the time he was a no-name nutcase may have proved to be just as pertinent. Just my two cents though, there could ultimately be some truth to both of our conclusions.
