+30 red stained yew short bow

Just bought it. Turns out its not what I thought it was. Thought it was sighted but its not. It is 6x though. So im just trying to get a little back from what I paid for it.

Bought for 4mil.

I've owned two yew bows, and neither of them were sighted. But I still want a +30 bow. Not that it'll help my AS, but the extra DS would be nice. If people would just stop bidding till I'm a wealthy elf again...

Well, (sighted) yew is also naturally +2, so with an even enchant like that I'd always be suspicious.

I can always assess archery, if needed.

I just last week had a discussion about this subject with a GM, actually.

I'm currently holding onto the jet inlaid raven crossbow from EG. I noticed that it too is made of yew, so I was pestering him on why it doesn't have yew properties. Its a straight +30 instead of +27 or +32 as yew should be, and no sighting. His response was, "Due to the nature of the item, its magical properties overcome the natural properties of the material".

On the other hand, it does appear to be further enchantable, not that I'm going to make any attempts. Being that its yew, I got the impression from the GM, making such an attempt A(a PC enchant anyway) would be very unwise.
