I can't believe there isn't a thread for this yet..... Liddell or Jackson?

I have Chuck knocking him out in the second.

Liddell should win.

But I would not be surprised one bit if Rampage donkeypunches his ass all over the octagon.

He won in the first minute of the fight. Caught him with a punch, then pounded him until Mcarthy stopped the fight. Chuck was barely phased, but out of it enough not to intelligently defend himself. It was a crappy fight, but the man got beat fair and square.

I like the Judo guy, his fights are always exciting.

I tried to give the UFC a shot, I've mentioned before that I'm a big boxing fan and my beef with UFC is that it's either too quick (Cro Cop, Liddel) or too boring (ground game). Too much luck involved in this sport, that's why I like boxing, there have been matches won with lottery punches (Rahman vs. Lewis 1) but the better fighter normally wins. This fight embodied what I don't like about UFC two boring minutes of circling then one punch ends the whole thing. UFC still is a better sanctioning body since it has so much more control, that's the real problem with boxing. Hopefully Don King and Lou Duva die the exact same day and then one strong group takes it over.

ESPN hyped this fight a lot. Had a good argument with some analysts about UFC vs. Boxing. Of course the boxing analyst was one of the boxing "good ol' boys" and got crushed by the UFC rep, not surprisingly. I'm a big fan, but don't watch it as much as I should.

I enjoy UFC a great deal. The whole point of stopping a fight when someone is stunned equates to not a single death in American MMA history.

Thursdays at 9-10 is The Ultimate Fighter
Friday at 9-10 is Fight Night

On Spike TV.

Michaelous siting!

Oh the fun I've had at his expense. Almost makes me want to reactivate my GS account.

On topic: SI had a decent article on MMA like two weeks ago. Actually made me respect the spectacle a little more.
