So, I'm heading back to the lands this summer, I'll be consulting in Buffalo again and since I know noone out there; GS here I come! Rada will be hitting 40 or so (he's still owed his fletching exp, and maybe he'll start cobbling... he overstudies and needs to get away from the books). So... I'm thinking of titling a bard. Freaking cool class- it'll be fun to write a backstory for him.57

I jumped into the bard forums and checked up on old posts, but still haven't figured out the plausible builds. It seems like bard circle songs aren't 1x'd, as most split spells between MnE and Bardic circles.

I'd love to hear the build designs. I've seen Soulpieced's AS/CM build- but that seems to gain viability down the road. I'm probably going to use him for utility... gems, singing, and maybe a little group work every so often. Bards are about as strong as they are useful.

I switched to archery from being a pure and it's been awesome.

1 RT eye-aimed shots are awesome.

High AS is a thing of the past. The way to go now is either casting, or 1 second melee attacks with short sword, ranged, or whatever else might be useful with a 1 RT with a maxxed 1035.

Starting out just for fun you could try TWC either edged or brawling. I really enjoyed TWC brawling when I had a bard.

2 second lance is where it is at... fuck a short sword, etc.

Any training plans associated with any of those ideas?
