some spiked battle horns

Self Mana 635
Double mana with chance of curse
Extremely low TD for defending enemies
Will attack everything in the room not in your group including hidden/invisible people/critters
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

635 · Nature's Fury [NATFURY]
Duration: Immediate

Type: Attack

Only Rangers are able to channel the chaos found in nature. Using this powerful, mass attack spell, the Ranger is able to draw upon the forces of nature to wipe out his foes. Those not in the Ranger's group are subject to damage based on both the climate and terrain of the area.

Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning provides the chance to increase the number of damage cycles done by Nature's Fury. The percent chance that another damage cycle will be done is equal to the ranger's lore skill. For example, a ranger with 15 Spiritual Lore, Summoning ranks, which equates to 70 skill, would have a 70% chance of gaining an extra damage cycle. This percentage chance is uncapped, so if the caster has a 130 Spiritual Lore, Summoning skill bonus, he will always have one extra damage cycle and a 30% chance of another damage cycle on top of that.

Loresong:

As you sing, a collage of images flashes through your mind. Slowly, the images seem to focus, and you can make out the details. You see a well-kept workshop where a wizened elvensmith is in conversation with a younger elf and pointing at the battle horns in his hands.

As you continue to sing, the images refocus once more. You see a young elvensmith laboriously crafting the battle horns from the raw materials laid out before him. As he works, he is chanting some arcane verses that you can't quite make out.

As you continue to sing, the images refocus once more. The elvensmith is inscribing runes of power upon the battle horns. Each rune glows brightly then fades into invisibility.

Your song continues to clarify and focus the images from the past. The ancient elvensmith raises the battle horns and chants an arcane phrase. A flash of light consumes the battle horns. An irridescent aura envelops the battle horns and is absorbed into it. The elvensmith seemingly looks up and gives you a wink and a smile as if he senses your presence.

You attempt to withdraw more from the horns, but you are unable to trace the vision further.

Wish I had this during those couple months of non stop invasions.. Would have been able to clear out a room in seconds.

Nah Ladrial would have upped her TD and AS to fuck you after a second.
She pinged right back after I decked her and became untouchable to any player.

You'd prob get away with it once.

I meant the rooms full of like 100 critters that would keep coming not the bosses.

Asha

Yeah she was well weak for an invasion leader. Everyone in GS killed her once before the GM realised they were stupid.

Asha
05-25-2007, 09:57 PM
Then she added this spell deflection effect where if you casted an attack spell on her, it bounced off and hit you instead.

She pinged right back after I decked her and became untouchable to any player.

Mhmm

Then again, each of her deaths taught that character something, so she learned from it, and made that particular attack void. This could have been a desired effect for that story line.

No man. Not when you murder her and a blink of an eye later she's casting at you with an improved CS of about 600 ranger circle.
I mean a millisecond later.
There's shit loads of RP in that. And that's why I sit in the Cavern Of Ages every invasion becouse I know the GM running it has a 1 in 13 chance of being a total fucking clueless idiot.

Yeah. You basically should expect to die should you kill a GM NPC. They will just give themselves 100 levels and come after you.

Based on the GS4 testing I helped do (as many others did as well) they are not limited by a level cap, nor a tp cap. So yea, ass handed to you on a rusty corroded brass platter.

Correct. Morvule was the definition of unkillable. You could not cast at him directly without being killed. His DS was always above just about anything a player could manage. His CS was in the thousands. His CMAN attack and defense was a good hundred levels above what anyone else could put out. Basically, he was completely invincible. I think he even stood there as a Meteor Swarm went off and just laughed.

Asha
05-25-2007, 11:45 PM
And he should've. And Ladrial was killable and should have fucking stayed that way.
Morvule should be badass. I liked that dude he smashed my jaw through my face for looking at him.
LOOKing at him as in 'L morvule'.

Heh. Yes. He also ripped the head off of a baby, then animated all of the children he kidnapped in Solhaven and sent them to fight in his armies.

Morvule was killed more than once by PCs.

I normally play a gnome mage on Blackhand (PvE) but I recently went back to Eredar (PvP) to level my undead mage from 60-70, so you can find me there.

Righto, tack on another 15 seconds to the time spent tabbed out of WoW while standing around waiting for the zeppelin to arrive.

EDIT: I was mistaken. It took 11 seconds.
