If I reroll a character with a last name, does he lose his last name? I tried to share his name with a character on my other account beforehand, but it doesn't seem to work at all.

The registrar just tells me that they're only allowing people to register their names right now. Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way to reroll a character now with his last name?

You can share your name with someone else, but it needs to be registered first. Register your name, have the other person in your group, then ask to share it. Once you've rerolled (as has been said, you WILL lose your surname when you reroll), have the other person share it back with you.

Can you then re-register it? or has the name been "claimed" and can't be registered by anyone else (obviously a flaw in their design and claiming names)
