I actually was thinking chris would go in a car accident too (several episodes this season they've showcased careless driving, with drawn out "non-plot" scenes in cars...)

As soon as meadow talked to tony all I could think was 'stop showing this shit and show tony fucking someone up'... they even did another short scene imbetween, had me chomping at the bit.

Fucking week hiatus for the next ep too...

HBO's really set out to make Gandolfini look like a douchebag this season. Maybe it has to do with the extra long wind-down behind the scenes or something. Man, I wish Tony would've just chucked the cement block back into the pool :thumbdown:

Some of the things Paulie says are really great, heh. I think, um, Syl is the only character that's actually remained truly faithful to Tony.

Exactly why I think Syl is gonna snap... and he's gonna snap fucking hard. Remember that vase he spent repairing? and then Tony just fucked it up? Yeah... Syl is a fucking timebomb.

For awhile I thought the ending was gonna be that the feds wired something in NY and had enough evidence to toss Phil or Carmine away for good and they were gonna use Tony to set that up like Pussy did to him.

But it really doesn;t seem to be heading in that direction.

I just keep reminding people, we are in store with an ending that's either gonna be ultra sad or leave us wanting more. We are, after all, on the mob crime boss's side!

You know the episode when Paulie and Tony go on vacation, and Tony thinks about killing him when they're out deep-sea fishing? Right before they got on the boat, I turned to my boyfriend and said "Would you really want to get on a boat by yourself with Tony Soprano? I know I wouldn't." Then Paulie had the flashback about killing Pussy... :roll: That and I totally called that either Paulie or Chris was going to get killed because of the way the tension has been escalating between the two of them. The boyfriend is totally pissed though, since Chris was his favorite character.

Personally... I think Tony is going to flip in order to fuck over Phil Leotardo/NY. Supposedly the last scene of the season is Tony selling ice cream to a bunch of little kids... witness protection program much?
