amazing.

My 4 year old is nowhere near that level of being able to discern a beat to music, much less the complicated rythims that this kiddo is running through.

Very cool; that kid is going to have arms the size of hams by the time he's 14. I'd be worried about how he's holding his sticks though; it looks like he's gripping in a fist, versus turning his wrists and resting on his fingers. It can commonly cause damage to the tendons that requires surgery (deQuervain's Tendonitis). Made me miss my drums too :(

Not sure if anyone noticed this video that was on the "related videos" section of the OP.

Is it sad that at 25 I've been working on my Rubiks Cube for about 12 years?

I could do a rubiks cube at age 8, by age 15 i could do one in less than 2 minutes... but theres a little secret you may not be in on...

9 out of 10 little kids who can solve a rubik's cube were taught how by someone older... there are a few sets of moves you can just memorize and then it's just a matter of remembering them all.... no real "super genius" required, my grandfather taught me, and I taught all my cousins.

That's not to say maybe this little girl figured it out all her own, but I don't put much faith in that idea...

I mean... I ARE RUBIKZ0R GOD! NEvAR CHEETOED!

Little drum prodigies are always cool... theres no way to teach that. Some kids just have an uncanny sense of rhythm. I saw one on Leno or Letterman or one of those talk show guys once... he was badass! Had a HUGE ego, but I'd probably have one too if I got to play with some of the big names he did (not that I remember his name or any of the bands he played with)

In my positive psychology course we had a few weeks dedicated toward child prodigies.

Crazy shit out there. Awesome a lot of it is on youtube.
